Resolutions

It has occurred to me that 365 is a pretty big number for a human being. And, its a long time to expect to do something new and potentially life changing. There are directions that I want to move in and I think its a little…hopeful? Optimistic? Sanguine? Silly? to expect that I can move in them all and succeed in them all at once.

So, my New Year’s resolution is to make twelve month-long resolutions. This month I’m playing Health Month. I would like to be a little healthier and this seemed like a good way to get started. And, a month is a manageable amount of time.

Of course, that being said, one of my rules on Health Month is to eat more greens and I’m going to have a bedtime salad snack in order to get my greens in today (as I don’t think eating a whole green pepper counts as eating greens. Or, does it?)
